Welcome to 2007! It's hard to believe another year has come and gone already. 2006 was a wonderful year to us...a new addition to our family, a new car, a new house...it really was a "new" year! I can't wait to see what 2007 has in store for us!
We had a wonderful visit in Ohio, but it went very quickly! It's always nice to get back home though. Curtis is already busy playing with his aquarium and if things go well we will add a couple starter fish in sometime this weekend. Most of our bags are unpacked and the Christmas tree is down and the ornaments are packed away. I'm begging that those boxes go "up" sometime this weekend...after all, what's the point of attic storage if you don't use it? :-P
Here is a family Christmas picture taken on Christmas Eve before we went to the church service. Notice the lovely, dangly earrings? Yeah, they only lasted another 5 minutes before I had to take them out before they were ripped out by my darling son who is intrigued by anything new dangling from mama! He sure is a curious kiddo!

He loved Christmas, by the way. He had so many Christmas celebrations that by the last one he was really getting the idea of opening gifts! He is learning things so quick that he even suprises mom and dad! Last night I set up the Peek and Play dome that came in the mail while we were gone, and on the front is a plastic door that lets him in or out...he's already figured out that he has to open the door if he wants to go in and play! I was impressed, anyway.
He's also getting in a couple new teeth...well, at least one. He doesn't let us look in there much anymore, lol. Of course he was cranky the whole time we were in Ohio, but he's better now. His schedule has popped back on track much easier than I expected! He woke up once last night but only fussed so he stayed in his crib! YAY! Here's hoping tonight goes as well!
Lex is happy to be home too, although it sounds like he had a superb time at one of Curtis's coworkers houses...he played with their dogs all day and I do think he misses all the activity. I tried to convince Curtis that Lex needs another puppy to play with, but I don't think he bought it. I guess new fish is enough for now. I just like a house-full!
Well, the tank (fish tank, that is) is full and Curtis is looking bored, so I guess the two of us better hit the hay before Toby is ready for another day.
May 2007 find you happy, healthy, and ready for adventure!
